Hispanic/Latino Academy Sponsors Student Visits to
Martin Methodist College

Yearly the Academy sponsors a visit of Hispanic/Latino students to Martin Methodist College.

 

 

The visit allows students to meet other students, the President, faculty and administration of Martin Methodist, to explore the opportunities open to them through enrollment at Martin Methodist, and to imagine themselves on a college campus!

 

 

In 2008 three students are enrolled full-time in the Bachelors Degree Program.  In the Fall, 14 high school students visited the campus and 9 have applied for admission.  The Academy helps explore scholarship possibilities, and provides nurture and encouragement personally and in staying connected with the ministries in the conference as well as in developing ministries on campus.
