The Hispanic Latino Academy for  Christian Formation and Church Leadership

A visionary initiative designed to train a new generation of Christian leaders to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

The Hispanic Latino Academy is a cooperative initiative sponsored by the Tennessee Conference Council on Connectional Ministries and the Cal Turner Jr. Center for Church Leadership at Martin Methodist College, in collaboration with the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry and the National Plan for Hispanic Latino Ministry.

The Hispanic Latino Academy Offers:

· An intentional, committed, in-depth and on-going opportunity for Hispanic/Latino pastors and laity to learn, grow, and develop their gifts in a United Methodist context in order to go out and serve the needs of persons, faith communities and the world.

· A Biblical and theological foundation for ministry from a Hispanic Latino perspective.

·  A supportive and accountable relationship with other Hispanic Latino pastors and laity.
