TRAVEL TO GERMANY

To The Oberammergau Passion Play

Bishop Bruce Ough and Mrs. Char Ough invite you to join them on a spiritual pilgrimage to the Oberammergau Passion Play.

What a unique opportunity to grow together in faith and community. The Oberammergau Passion Play pilgrimage is a nine-day European adventure with the Passion Play as the spiritual centerpiece. The villagers of Oberammergau perform this

magnificent act of devotion and faith only once every ten years – keeping a 370-year-old vow to God. You do not want to

wait another decade to experience this drama. In addition to the Passion Play we will visit a number of historic cities,

cathedrals and palaces, all in the context of the beautiful Alpine landscape.

The Oberammergau Passion Play will speak to your heart, mind and soul. It will make the central drama of the Christian

faith come alive in new, fresh and powerful ways. You will hear with new ears Jesus’ teaching. “For the Son of Man came

not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)

The journey begins July 20, 2010.

Educational Opportunities will partner with us to provide all the logistical support. They work to provide safe, secure and informative tours of thousands of Christian pilgrims each year.
