Sunday School

Do we have a class for you!  All our teachers are trained, dedicated and qualified to lead adults, children and youth into a greater knowledge of the Bible theology, history and the meaning of Christian faith.

Adult Education

We have multiple classes for Adult Education on a variety o0f faith forming and contemporary issues.  Classes are offered from 10:45 to 11:30 on Sunday mornings (see listings below)>

Young Adults and College Students

A young adult class is offered at different times throughout the year. Details will be announced in the church bulletin.

Children and Youth

Nursery care is provided for young children up to age 5. Those five and older are welcome in worship at 9:30 until 10:00 a.m. and then all children and youth are dismissed to Sunday School (which lasts until 10:45).  Children's choir is then offered until 11:30, when Adult Classes are concluded.

 

A nursery for infants and toddlers is available each Sunday from 7:45 a.m. until noon. An experienced child caregiver is in the nursery at all times.  Electronic pagers for parents to take into worship services are also available.  A nursery is provided for all special events and for small group meetings upon request.

New Adult Opportunities Classes

Prayer for Everyone.

Enrich your prayer life and learn new ways of moving closer to God through prayer. Come explore prayer as a wonderful gift to us all. Pastor Valerie Fairchild will lead this multi-week session.  Eugenia Smart Room in new sanctuary addition.

Dig into the Bible.

Delve deeply into the Bible with this lively, open discussion group. Ezekiel is the fascinating Old Testament book that’s being studied in depth right now. We have a lot to talk about and usually continue until noon! Church Parlor.

What in the World is Going On?

Take on the latest news stories, issues and events in this very up-to-date discussion group. We’ll use a weekly e-mailed curriculum called FaithLink that connects faith and life as United Methodists. Fireside Room in Fireside Building.

You’ve heard this morning’s sermon— now it’s our turn! Come share our insights about the major points of the sermon and how it might impact your life this week. Scripture reading, prayer and a visit from the preacher will also be part of this class.
