We will be a church with lively, joyful and relevant
worship!

|
Our 90-seat sanctuary is as warm and friendly as the reception you’ll
receive from our members.
|
Join us every Sunday at 11 a.m. for our family worship time.
There is something for all ages.
Our worship
service begins with music by our choir and hymns sung by your request.
The children
get to share in a morning lesson led by Pastor Mike.
Bring with
you a list of your needs and your celebrations as we pray with each
other and for each other.
Enjoy a message
by Pastor Mike that brings the Bible alive and helps apply it to your
life.
Take home
the blessings of God the Creator, the Savior and the Holy Spirit.
Vengan con nosotros cuando celebramos

Family Bible Study
Sunday 9:45 a.m.
|
Jean Ford and Pastor Mike are leading us in a study of the
book of Revelation.
With the popularity of the “Left Behind” series of books,
many people want to know what the Bible says about the end of time.
We’re taking time to explore what John’s Revelation
tells us about the end of days…or about the church in times of
persecution

Prayer Meeting
Sunday 6 p.m.
|
Prayer is the foundation of the Christian life. It is the best
we way have to communicate with God.
Our commitment to humble and sincere prayer is experienced at
our weekly prayer service. This Spirit-led time is open to everyone.
Please come with your needs to offer up to God, but come ready
to hear what God has to say to you.
You're also asked to bring a candle.

February 13
Ash Wednesday
Service at 7 p.m.
Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the season called Lent.
We start this season with a reminder of our own mortality. We will all die
someday, so we have a limited time to leave our mark on this world. Lent
is a time to think about that — and make changes in your life so you can
leave the mark you want.
To remind us of our limited time and to make a mark, we make a mark on our
foreheads made of ashes. “Ashes to ashes” reminds us that we will die. The
sign of the cross reminds us how to make our mark.
Are you leaving your mark? Is it
to make the world a better place for your children and grandchildren? Would
you like to make the world a better place?

February 13–March 20
Lent
Lent is a 40-day period
before Easter when Christians are called to draw closer to Jesus Christ through
disciplines of self-denial or spiritual development.
You may have heard of people “giving something up for Lent.” That is the
discipline of self-denial. Equally important is to replace that with a positive
habit or activity that will help you become a better person.
How about giving up your Sunday mornings and taking on the habit of attending
church? You might be surprised at the difference it can make in your life.
Try it for Lent and see how you
like it.
