             The Mission of Tabernacle United Methodist Church is to
                          Make all peoples disciples of Jesus Christ.

We will accomplish our mission by:

A.  Reach
    We will reach people for Jesus Christ through evangelism and worship.

B.  Teach
    We will teach people in the Sunday School classes, Youth program, and Discipleship training.

C.  Heal
    We will intentionally develop disciples who actively look for opportunities to serve and minister to others.

Mission Statement

    To offer people Jesus Christ that they might know Christ and find a place at the table, to relate them to others and to God by bringing them into a caring, supporting and encouraging community of God's family, to grow into a Christ-like nature through public worship and personal devotion in order to glorify God and to grow spiritually, to equip them for ministry in the church through Biblical and Christian teaching and to send them into the world for a life of mission in the world.

We envision a church that is reaching out to persons for Jesus Christ--sharing our personal faith and proclaiming the good news. 

We envision a church relating persons to God and one another--vital worship, caring through small groups, and prayer. 

We envision a church equipping persons to be Disciples--growing spiritually in Bible Study, Sunday School and other opportunities. 

We envision a church sending persons into the local community and the world--missions and acts of compassion.
