please mark your calendar now for SASSY.  It is always the second Saturday of

the month, Noon – 5ish.  You don't have to stay the whole time!

We have an eclectic group: some sew, some bead, some weave, some crochet,

                          some scrapbook, all visit and talk.  It is always a good time, so come if you can.

                          If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Hittle.

KAIROS MINISTRY

COOKIES FOR KAIROS.  It is always time to bake cookies.  Kairos visits are a special time for inmates to attend a three day seminar on Christianity.  During the weekends, all inmates and staff are flooded with home baked, prayed over cookies.  Become part of this very important ministry by baking cookies.  Each weekend each person receives one dozen cookies each day; so each person receives 4 dozen cookies.  Now multiply that by the number of inmates and the number of staff – the need is great, as you can see!  Kay Glass is our “cookie guy” – and there are directions on the bulletin board.

*                       Useful Information

Following the attacks in London, the East Anglican Ambulance Service has launched a national "In Case of Emergency (ICE)" campaign.  The idea is that you store the word " ICE " in your cell phone address book,

and against it enter the number of the person you would want to be contacted  "In Case of Emergency".

In an emergency situation ambulance and hospital staff will then be able to quickly find out who your next of kin are and be able to contact them.  It's so simple that everyone can do it.  It really could help the emergency services in doing their job. For more than one contact name use: ICE1, ICE2, ICE3 etc.
