About our Pastor

Golden Neal.JPG Golden Neal, who began his ministry at Spanaway UMC, joined us on July 15, 2007.

Says Golden, “I grew up in the small town of Rochester WA where I first encountered the love of God at Rochester United Methodist Church. I was involved in various school activities and scouting, while working in the banking and farming industries prior to graduation. I am a graduate of Western Washington University with a BS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. I worked for 13 years with the Boeing Company in various organizations. I obtained my Masters of Divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. I was ordained an Elder in the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church on June 18, 2005. I have been a loyal child of God for most of my life.”
