Children’s and Youth Sunday School Parents, if you're looking for a church that really cares about your children, check out Sunrise. Our children’s classes are divided into preschool, Kindergarten – 4th grades and our Youth Class (currently 5^th – high school). In 2007/2008 our Children’s Sunday School is studying Cokesbury's newest children’s Sunday school curriculum, Live B.I.G., which is being applauded for engaging children in Sunday school. Live B.I.G. is designed to help children ages 3-13 learn about the love of God through Jesus so they can live their “Belief in God.” Using a DVD component, teachers are supplied with resources that go beyond the classroom and engage children with Christian role models and a deeper understanding of Jesus and the impact he can have on their lives. Through these resources teachers and children will come to know and love God and Jesus so that they can answer the question, “How can I live B.I.G.?” Our Youth Sunday School is using the Virtues Project and learning about the 52 Virtues – practicing one new Virtue each week. Adult Sunday School We have an active Adult Sunday School class. The class may use videos on topical subjects, followed by a lively discussion. If you have questions, please call the church office 253-815-6925 for more information, or you can have the office call Lois Prang (the present facilitator) or Terry Meerdink (our Adult Ed. person), and they’ll get back to you. Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:30am each Sunday. Parents – please download, fill out and return the Children’s registration and information page so that our Sunday School class knows how to best care for your child.
