The women of Summit's United Methodist Women are so active that it takes two groups to meet the needs of all the women! The Joy Circle meets the 4th Thursday of every month at 7PM. Their quarterly fundraiser is one that is very much appreciated by the church. It is a Make It, Bake It, Take It sale, which often occurs just before a major holiday. It saves the church members from having to do quite so much baking at that busy time of year.
The Nite Circle, meets the third Monday of every month at 11:30 AM. I know...that makes you stop and wonder, "Now WHY are they called the Nite Circle?" It's because they originally met at night, but after a number of years, decided they wanted to meet at noon
The United Methodist Women support the church with various programs and activities, such as honoring the graduating high school seniors, sponsoring the Missions apportionments, and Bible Studies, to name a few.
