The United Methodist Men of Summit are a hard-working group of men. They meet on the first Sunday of every month at 8AM. Like all good Methodists, these men enjoy eating, so in their effort to be efficient with their time, they make it a Breakfast meeting.

Led by President, Tom McCool, they sponsor the Boy Scout Troop 282, that meets here at the church. They do whatever it takes to be sure that every scout who wants to attend the bi-annual camping trips will be able to do so. These men are supportive in all church projects and various maintenance issues of the church building, as well as being sponsors of several church apportionments.Their major fundraiser has been the annual Barbeque Luncheon on the first Saturday in November. This year, they will also be having a Brisket Cookoff for July 4th. The briskets will be donated by various church members, etc., and will be sold for $30.00 each. They will be taking orders, as well as come and go sales. If you are interested in making your July 4th weekend less labor intensive, please call to place your order.
