Salem's music ministry is woven into the lives of all ages as an
important expression of our journey in faith. Children, youth and adults
enjoy traditional, contemporary, and new songs, regularly, as part of our
worship services.
We welcome soloists and ensembles, either vocal or instrumental, who wish
to participate in worship services with a musical offering. Drama and
dance are also encouraged. If you are interested in scheduling a musical
offering please contact the church office.
- Adult
The Salem
Chancel Choir
prepare choral music and lead congregational singing for worship
services in the Sanctuary. Individuals who enjoy singing and wish
to share their commitment in faith through music are encouraged to
attend rehearsals on Wednesdays 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
-
- Youth
High school youth have an opportunity to
participate in music. High school youth are encouraged to participate in
the Salem Singers.
-

- Children
Children
attending Sunday School on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evening
programs have music incorporated into the education for preschoolers and
K-5 grades. Participation offers the experience of singing in
front of the congregation and encourages children to take an active part
in their church in the future. Children develop a repertoire of
songs during the school year and sing during worship services
occasionally.
