Nursery Care

Quality child care is provided during Sunday school and worship services for infants through age 2 in the nursery located near the sanctuary in room 1A-09 and for children age 3 and 4 following the children's time in each service.  We ask that children 5 & older stay in worship.

 

 

Classes for Children

Children from Kindergarten through 5th grade are divided into smaller age groupings which rotate through learning settings.  The same Bible story or theme is taught for several week.  Each week, learners rotate to a different station.  The story remains the same, but the children encounter it in different ways in each station.  Imagine learning a Bible story one week through drama, another week through creative cookery, the next week through art and the final week with music and movement.

A familiar "shepherd" will meet each child at the gathering time each week to guide them to the station their age group is attending that particular week.  Gathering begins at 8:45 a.m. in the Temple area of room 2-03 and may rotate through stations in a more limited, age appropriate manner.
