Austin Street Centre Breakfast
|
Several times each year, St. Stephen provides breakfast for the homeless at the Austin Street Centre.
There are several ways you can help with this ministry:
- BAKE: Bake muffins or other foods such as breakfast casserole to be served.
- DONATE: Donate canned fruit, cereal or other items on the menu for the meal. Money is
needed also to purchase paper goods and any menu items we are missing. Borden's Dairy provides milk.
You can also donate daily need items such as soap, toilet paper, toothpaste, etc.
- SERVE: Serve the food at the shelter. A group meets at St. Stephen at 4:30 a.m., travels
together to the shelter, arriving at 4:50 a.m. The meal is served to approximately 350 men, women and
children at the shelter. The group heads back to St. Stephen by about 5:45 - 6:00 a.m.
The next scheduled date is:
