Our Staff

Pastor
Rev. Valerie Garron

Pastor Val was appointed to serve St. Paul's in 2007. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Eastern Seminary in Philadelphia and was ordained an elder in 2005. Prior to becoming a pastor she was a certified social worker, serving as a case manager with a women’s health organization in a state-funded program for pregnant teenagers. She has a B.S. in social work from Stockton State College. Her prayer for our church is that we join together as one in spirit, all in ministry. Her family includes her husband Glenn, three grown daughters, and five grandchildren.

Ministry Coordinator
Denise Hosier

Denise Hosier has worked in promoting the ministries of St. Paul's since she joined the church in 1980. She was secretary from 1988 to 1994, returned as secretary in 2003, and was promoted to ministry coordinator in 2004. She has served the church in numerous ways over the years, singing in the choir for 28 years, teaching Sunday School for several years, and serving on trustees and finance committees both at the church and Conference level. She is a graduate of Clarkson University and Rutgers University. She is married to Dave Hosier and has two grown daughters.

Music Director
Courtney Coats

Courtney Coats is a student at Rowan University majoring in music education with organ as her principal instrument. She has been involved in church music for ten years at St. Patrick’s and Southwood Baptist Church. During high school at West Deptford she played oboe, clarinet, and piano. She was assistant music director and accompanist for the West Deptford Little Theater and assistant music director for Gloucester Catholic’s musical. She lives in West Deptford with her parents.

Sexton
Frank Newell

Our church stays clean and inviting thanks to Frank Newell. Frank has owned and operated his own church-only cleaning business for 17 years. In addition to taking care of St. Paul's, he and his son Keith and other family members take care of Evangelical UMC and Zion UMC, both in Clarksboro, as well as St. James Episcopal Church in Prospect Park, PA. Frank is a faithful Christian and a member of Angel Visit Baptist Church in Clarksboro.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley, Inc., housed in our basement, provides emergency assistance for those in need. VOA is a national, nonprofit, spiritually based organization providing local human service programs and opportunities. For more information on VOA, click here.
