Vacation Bible School

For one week every July, we bring together not only our own kids, but many from the community, both churched and unchurched. There are five evenings of fun, including music, crafts, snacks, recreation, and — most importantly — learning the lessons of the Gospel.

Learning and Love

My Word will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire, and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

We have a unique opportunity to reach and teach people of all ages and from all walks of life about Jesus Christ through our Sunday School. We seek to make disciples for Jesus by:

• Setting a good Christian example
• Teaching the Bible through lessons, stories, and songs
• Emphasizing Christian values
• Helping our students accept Jesus Christ into their lives

St. Paul’s offers a variety of classes for children and adults of all ages. Come and try it—we're sure to have something for you!

Children
The goal of our Children’s program is to develop and encourage an attitude of excitement about Jesus Christ for children of all ages. We offer a hands-on curriculum because we believe that is the way children learn. All that we do is Christ-centered, fun and full of life. Our teachers are dedicated to help children begin and grow their faith in Jesus Christ.

Adults
Adult Sunday School provides the opportunity to grow and develop as followers of Christ. To that end our adult Sunday School is focused not only on the impartation of knowledge but also practical training for ministry.

Studying the Bible not only instructs us intellectually, but also guides us spiritually. We accept the Bible as God’s Word to us, alive and relevant to life today.

Why Go to Sunday School?
• We need to know God and to understand God’s plans for our lives.
• God uses the Bible to connect with us. We need to know what the Bible says. In Sunday School we systematically study the Bible so we can understand and obey God’s commands.
• The Bible lays out principles for living in a way that pleases God.
• As we study God’s Word in Sunday School, the Holy Spirit helps us learn and apply its principles to our everyday lives.
• The small group setting of Sunday School allows us to hear how other believers are applying God’s Word to their lives.
• In Sunday School we systematically learn to use the Bible, search its pages for answers, share its principles with others, memorize its verses for our lives, and apply its promises in facing our problems.
• Week by week and lesson by lesson, Sunday School helps us become more like Jesus–from the inside out.

So be sure to join us this week at 10:45 a.m.
