St. Paul’s United Methodist Church
200 Main Street, New Windsor, MD 21776

St. Paul’s Church was built in 1843 and sits on the corner of Main St. in New Windsor, MD.  The church holds approximately two hundred people in its elegant sanctuary, which was built on the Akron, Ohio model, with curved wooden pews and two aisles. The sanctuary is surrounded by stunning stained glass windows and has a Mohler pipe organ.  St. Paul’s Church received recognition in 1998 when it was a setting used in the film, “Runaway Bride” with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.

The sanctuary may be strewn with roses if a runner is used, and we ask you to use bubbles to send off the couple if you wish, rather than rice or birdseed because of safety issues.

The fee for using the sanctuary is $350.  An accomplished organist/pianist is available for an additional fee.  The Rev. Helen S. Armiger, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church is available to officiate the wedding service.

For more information, please call the church office at 410-635-2442, Mon. Wed. or Thursday mornings.
