Mission Statement

Our purpose as the St. Paul’s United Methodist congregation of disciples of Jesus Christ is

    To make disciples of Jesus Christ:

        By worshipping God intentionally and with integrity,

            By experiencing God’s grace meaningfully and personally,

                By inviting and profoundly welcoming new persons and families into

                       the communion of disciples known as St. Paul’s UMC,

                      And by enabling all participants to become “fully-devoted” disciples,

• Who enjoy the acceptance, confidence, wholeness, and hope of God’s unconditional love,

• Who live lives consistent with God’s love and justice,

• Who grow in our understanding of God’s way of grace,

• Who understand ourselves as gifted and called servants,

• Who serve neighbors near and far through action and advocacy for their good,

• Who discover fulfilling ways to express faith through their unique gifts and abilities,

  So that God is honored and all people are loved and respected.
