The
Reverend Donald Jenkins has been the pastor of St. Paul Church since 1993.
Pastor Jenkins has led St. Paul in rediscovering the joy of dynamic
worship, becoming active in community ministries that targets real needs,
thirsting to learn more about the Bible, taking risks of faith, trying new
things and encouraging church members to discover and use their God given
talents and spiritual gifts. His messages are Bible centered with an
everyday application.
Pastor Jenkins' goal is to
reach church members and persons looking for a church home with a message
of hope for everyday living. He believes that God is looking for persons
to mature in the faith and to be visible examples of Jesus Christ. Being
an example is a part of St. Paul's mission statement and equipping persons to be
visible examples is the mandate of Pastor Jenkins.
Pastor Jenkins was trained for
the ministry at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston,
Illinois and ordained as an Elder in the United Methodist
Church. He
possesses a clear vision for the future.
Pastor Jenkins, wife, Denise
and daughter, Brittany, invite you to worship, service, fellowship and
study at St. Paul United Methodist Church, "a Jesus Centered
Church for All People."
