| This year we went to White Oak Tenn. again July
17-23. whit Oak is a part of the Henderson Settlement in Frakes, KY,
which is a part of the Redbird Missionary Conference. We put
insulation, vinyl siding and a window in a elderly man's home there.
This was our 5th year to go there. some projects in the past have
been ceiling, a play ground, decks and wiring with paneling a room.

www.hendesonsettlement.com. Christmas is coming and we will again fill shoe boxes with toys etc. for the children at the settlement. Last year the church members filled 97 shoe boxes for the children at Henderson Settlement so that they might have a nice Christmas. We have a covenant with Gary and Vickie Stevens at Henderson. We help support them at the settlements besides the other support we do there. they have given up good jobs to go there and work for God. Our church also has a food pantry called Carolyn's Cupboard. Churches in Huntsville, business and members donate the food for the pantry. We are the only pantry with baby items in Huntsville. Every first Sunday at our church is pantry Sunday and members bring food for the pantry. We also collect school supplies for Ridgecrest Elem. and West Huntsville Elem. schools. There is a list of supplies needed in the narthex at church. Delana Burdette is in charge of this project. |
