Pastor Zach

Our new Associate Pastor, Zachary Walsher, and his wife, Erin, will be joining the St. Matthew family on June 18, 2006.

Zach Walsher comes to St. Matthew from Whiting, IN. Zach grew up in DeKalb County, IN, as one of 4 children, and attended Eastside High School. He was in 4-H for ten years and in high school, he ran track and sang in the choir. Zach graduated from Drake University, in Des Moines, Iowa, and was a founding member there of the Iowa Delta chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. After graduation, he taught high school government and American history classes in Iowa City, Iowa, before he attended seminary. Zach received his Masters of Divinity from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary.

Zach is married to Erin and they have one cat, Gus. Zach enjoys baseball, golf, hiking, reading, and gardening.
