News from St. Matthew

· Our new Associate Pastor, Zachary “Zach” Walsher, and his wife, Erin, will be joining St. Matthew on June 18.
 
· Adults are still needed to teach summer Sunday school for the children! PLEASE contact the office to let us know you’ll help. 
 We won’t be able to offer Sunday school classes for the children throughout the summer without more help! If every parent 
 would teach one Sunday, we would have enough teachers to cover the summer classes.
 
· Summer Worship Services began in the Courtyard on June 4, at 8 a.m. Volunteers are still needed to lead the singing at these
 services. Please contact Carol Goul to let her know you’ll help!
 
· Pastor Jean is leading a bible study on the Book of Romans. This bible study will meet in the shelter
  behind the church from 6-7 p.m. on Sunday evenings. Bring your bible and your bug repellent! 
 
· The Salvation Army needs items, such as laundry detergent and personal hygiene products like shampoo, bath soap, toilet 
 tissue, feminine hygiene products, etc.
 
· Vacation Bible School, “Treasure Island,” will be July 24 – 28, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., including lunch.
o VBS Sunday will be July 30
 
· Fall Programming at St. Matthew will begin September 10, 2006
