Our Vision

St. Mark's United Methodist Church is a congregation of Christians maturing spiritually. As a growing multicultural church family, we invite and welcome all who are searching for a spiritual home. Our mission is both local and global, based on the melding of scripture, reason, tradition, and experience. We seek to serve Rockville Centre and neighboring communities through:

• witnessing to and sharing our faith;

• ministry with and to persons in need (spiritual, economic, emotional);

• ecumenical and interfaith fellowship; and

• identifying and meeting the changing and on-going needs of the community.

Each of these efforts can only be effective when carried out in humble awareness of God's universal grace and in joyful acceptance of the Good News of Christ.
