Stephen Ministry - St. Mark United Methodist Church

St. Mark has a wonderful program that is offered to all who worship here and/or family members. Are you lonely or frustrated? Are you going through a grieving process because of the death of a loved one or close friend? Has going through a divorce made you feel useless and lost? These are just a few of the feelings that STEPHEN MINISTERS here at St. Mark are ready to help you through. As STEPHEN MINISTERS we have spent many hours in training for just such things and many more. Are you dealing with the decision to place a loved one in a nursing home, and have feelings of conflict because of this? St. Mark has nine members in our congregation, both men and women, who are trained STEPHEN MINISTERS ready to help you throughout your time of need. We are here to serve you. We are willing and ready to walk with you through whatever is troubling you. Look for those of us who wear the STEPHEN MINISTER name tags or call the office and request one of us. We are approachable after church services, church meetings or whenever you happen to see one of us. ONLY YOUR STEPHEN MINISTER WILL KNOW ABOUT THIS, as everything is held in CONFIDENCE. We do not know who our other STEPHEN MINISTER's care receivers are. You do not have to go through troubling times alone. Talking with someone else in confidence really helps. We will go with you, in Jesus' love, in your time of need.
