Kabtamnesh Aweke is a child who lives in the rural area of Southern Ethiopia known as Buee. She was born on September 22, 1988.

Kabtamnesh's family consists of seven members, her mother, her father, two brothers and two sisters. Her mother is a house wife and her father is a farmer. The community in which Kabtamnesh is growing up in is known for its hilly landscape, socialbility of the people, and other cultureal characteristics.

Saint Luke's Sunday School supports Kabtamnesh and her family through the Christian Children's Fund, Ethiopia providing funds for medical services, schooling, and other services that help to support the family.
