Q: Do I have to be a member of a United Methodist
Church to be married
at St. Luke's?
A: No, but our Pastor will perform the services.
Q: How many people can be invited to the wedding?
A: The sanctuary can only hold 150 people, maximum. If you have a bigger
wedding planned, then our church is not going to work for you.
Q: Do you have facilities for a wedding reception?
A: Yes, our Fellowship Hall can be used for a small wedding
reception. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Typically,
the couple holds their reception elsewhere.
Q: Will someone help me with getting around in the church on the day of
the wedding?
A: Yes, we have a wedding hostess who will help you access the
facilities we offer.
Q: Is there a charge?
A: Yes, we do require a fee for the Pastor's time and to help cover our
costs for providing the building.
Q: Is the building handicapped accessible?
A: Yes, we have a single-person elevator providing access to both floors
of the building and off the rear parking lot a handicapped accessible
entrance.
