Our Church Office is in the midst of a facelift. The project is still ongoing but stop by and take a peek at the improvements, which include a new door, paint, wallpaper and flooring! |

Christmas Creche:
2007 Rebuild
|
Thanks to our Men's Club, one of our most well-known Christmas exhibits recently had a facelift. The creche, which was first erected in 1950, depicts the humble birthplace of our Lord and features live animals. George Walling offered a $5,000 donation towards the building of a new one. Upon gaining approval from the township, Jeff Tyler designed the building and prepared the drawings. When George passed away, the Walling family expressed a desire to fund the enire project. Vic Rhodes was the construction foreman, and he and a friend built the new creche in time for the 2007 Christmas season. A dedication service was held and a commemorative plaque was placed on the parking lot side of the creche. It is dedicated to George Walling who was instrumental in setting-up and taking-down the creche for many years. |
