~ Music Programs ~

- Psalm 95:2 -
"Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song."

At St. John's, we have a variety of music programs available for kids, youth, and adults to express their unique talents to praise God. Our groups help to enrich weekly church services, hold concerts, and participate in other special events. Music reading skills are helpful, but not a necessity. We are always eager to welcome new members with a willing spirit and a joyful heart. If you play an instrument or would like to participate in our programs, contact our Music Minister, Peter Madpak, at 732-264-1236.

    Handbell Choirs

What kind of group is this?
A bell choir consist of about ten people that work together as though they are one person playing a single instrument. Each ringer is assigned a certain number of bells (notes) to play. Groups of bells are played together to produce melodies and harmonies. You don't need to know how to play an instrument or read music to play. You just need the ability to count and have a sense of rhythm.
