Sunday School for age 4 through grade 12 is offered from 9:30 am – 10:30 am on Sunday from

September through June.  During July and August, Summer Sunday School is held every other week.  Communion Services are the first Sunday of the month.  All the children are welcome to receive communion.  If you would like your child to participate, please let the teachers know.

Nursery care for infants and children up to 3 years old is available during Sunday worship.

Adult Bible classes are offered during the week.  During 2009 we are conducting two classes for the Grand Sweep Bible Study.

2^nd  - 8^th Grades – Rock Solid

Missions

Grades 2 thru 8 will focus on learning how to help others, less fortunate than they are.  A small collection will be taken up in the classrooms for this purpose every week.

Youth Groups

Grades 8 thru 12 meets every Sunday 6 – 8 pm,  begins Sept 27, 2009
Leaders for this group are: Rev Sharon Lovejoy, Mrs. Phyllis Riviere and Mrs. LuAnn Humphries.

Grades 4 thru 7 will be meeting once a month from 5pm to 6pm.  Starting date will be announced. Leaders for this group are: Rev Sharon Lovejoy, Mrs. Sharon Redfern and Mrs. Robin House.

Upcoming Events

Sept 13^th – Rally Sunday  - Registration for Sunday School

Sept  20^th – Official Start of Sunday School.  Children will start each Sunday in church, before being released to their classes, they will have an opportunity to make a weekly tithe to the church.  Church begins at 9:30 until 10:30 am.

Oct 4^th – Crop Walk – This is an on site walk – sponsors agree to pay by the mile.

NOTE: Rehearsals for the Christmas Pageant will be in Nov. The dates & times TBA.

Nov 22^nd – Bible Sunday – We would ask that the children bring a non-perishable item suitable for Thanksgiving for the Food Pantry.  As they receive their Bibles, they can deposit their donation in the receptacle which will be at the rail.

Dec 20^th – Children’s Christmas Play – done during worship.

Dec 24^th – Christmas Eve Service 5pm – Children will participate.
