United Methodist Women emphasize mission ministry through their unit and circle meetings and United Methodist Men meet on the third Saturday each month for breakfast and prayer.

Single Sisters provides fellowship for single or widowed women. There are many Bible study opportunities, scrapbooking and quilting groups and St. James hosts Alcoholics Anonymous each Monday night.

No Church is complete without committees. Program groups include Evangelism, Christian Education, Worship, Outreach, Pastoral Care, Higher Education and Ministry and Library. Administrative committees include the Trustees, Finance, Long Range Planning, Staff Parish Relations, and Endowment and Memorials. Each of these groups reports to our Church Council and the Committee on Lay Leadership seeks to match the needs of these groups with talents of our members. Speak up and let us know what gifts, graces and talents you bring to our Christian Community.
