A Church in Mission
At the heart of St. James you’ll find a strong desire to reach out to the last, the least, and the lost. This desire becomes a way of life for most who call St. James their church, and it shapes a great deal of the church’s activity. Our primary areas of focus are:
- Feeding the Hungry
- Caring for the Sick and Imprisoned
- Housing the Homeless
- Providing for Those in Need
Adult Ministries
Whether you are 18-35, 36-55, or 55 plus St. James has several ministry opportunities for you. Check out the following pages for yourself: Young Adult Ministry, Women's Ministry, Men's Ministry. On the Adult Ministries page you will also find information on adult Bible Study opportunities, adult Sunday School, and older adult ministries.
Children's Ministry
The church has many classes available for children on Sunday morning. We have a nursery for the little ones and offer activities for children from age 3 through 6th grade.
Hispanic Ministry
Comunidad Cristiana de Bellevue is doing amazing things in our community. Here is a short video to see the differences they are making in lives.
Music Ministry
St James has a vibrant and active Music Ministry that involves many talented people. Feel free to join and "Make a Joyful Noise" unto the Lord!
Wedding Ministry
St. James is a wonderful place to begin your new life together as you become "one flesh". If you are interested in having a wedding at St. James or in having one of our pastors officiate at your service please read the Wedding Handbook and contact the church office. Young Adults
A newer and vibrant ministry at St. James is our young adult group. It's a place for those of us who feel like no one our age is going to church. We visit about whatever, have a conversational Bible study, often have potlucks together, and build new friendships. We welcome all young adults to join us.
Youth Ministry
The Saint James Youth Ministries Program has three main pillars: Christian Fellowship; Christian Service and Christian Spirituality. The mission of this group is to provide a Christian foundation for young men and women while also having fun, building healthy relationships and serving in Him. We have open minds and open hearts and we strive to reflect in our ministry.
