Powerful and Moving: February Mission!

Dr. Don Messer is with us this coming Sunday 26Feb12 at St. James West to share his story and the heart-warming work of the Center for Church and Global AIDS—9:30 and 11:00 a.m.! Don will also share the latest needs and dreams for the Center. Last year you graciously adopted 21 AIDS orphans and contributed beyond those benchmarks to total over $2000. We encourage you to hear Don's updates on the orphans you have cared for, and to continue to open your heart again this year to the same child/children. Don will have a table at both locations with information, and Kathy Liebenguth will share with us on the Center's behalf at the East location.

Whether you prefer upbeat, contemporary worship services, or something more traditional is your style, St. James United Methodist Church has something for everyone.

We offer a variety of Sunday morning worship styles and times for you.

• St. James East: we offer traditional worship services at both 8:15 and 9:45 a.m. These services are in English and feature our organist/pianist, chancel choir, and the great hymns of the faith. We also offer a Hispanic worship at 11:30 a.m. This Spanish speaking service is filled with great songs, fellowship, and preaching.
• St. James West: we offer contemporary worship services at both 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. These English speaking services are led by a praise team and we sing contemporary Christian music with some traditional hymns arranged for the band. The use of projector and screen allow us to utilize a lot of multi-media in the services.

Child care is offered at all five worship services.

Join us for services at either location - St. James East or St. James West - to discover why we are "the church with the warm heart." Pastor Russ primarily preaches at St. James East and Pastor Jason at St. James West. The following dates Pastor Russ will be at St. James West and Pastor Jason will be at St. James East: February 19, March 18 & 25, April 15, 22, & 29.
