The economic downturn has impacted many individuals. Many in our local congregation have experienced down-sizing, found themselves unemployed, and are actively seeking employment. SFUMC has created a Support Network group called "CareerWorks", to assist individuals with job placement activities.

The Networking Breakfasts are open to everyone - not just those looking for employment - who are interested in business networking in the fellowship of caring Christians (not to mention some good food!)
We are in contact with other area churches who have similar ministries already in place, to learn and share with them with the prospect of entering into partnership to enhance this ministry for all.
