Rev Kathleen Overby Webster came to the Staunton District from MaGaheysville United Methodist Church, on the Harrisonburg District which she served from 1997 until 2003. She grew up in Stafford County. Her home church was Fredericksburg United Methodist Church. Kathleen has a BA in History and Religion from The College of William and Mary, a M.Div. from The Divinity School, Duke University. She was received as a Probationer in 1983 and has been an Elder/Member in Full Connection since 1985. Her first appointment was the Greensville Charge (Independence, Mount Pleasant, Round Hill, and Saint Andrews) on the Petersburg District from 1983 to 1988. From 1988-1997 she served Forest Grove UMC on the Ashland District.

Rev Webster lives in Staunton with her husband, Rev Harold Webster, Jr., pastor of Port Republic United Methodist Church on the Harrisonburg District, and their 16-year-old son, Joel. Her step-daughter, Cherise, lives in Powhatan County, is married to Jimmy and is the mother of Michael age 10 and Tyler age 7. Her step-son, Harold III, and his wife India who live in Nelson County have a son, Liam born in May 2006.

Kathleen likes to read, hike in cool weather and to walk for exercise.
