MEET OUR NEW MINISTER at
ST. ANDREW'S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
CHERRY HILL, NEW JERSEY


Dr. Hendrickson has a passion for making disciples for Jesus Christ by helping others find their passion and unique gifts to serve wherever a need is present.

She has been senior pastor for the past seven years of the Summit United Methodist Church, prior to this she served four years as associate pastor of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Ocean City and she began her ministry as pastor of the two-point charge of New Gretna and Oceanville United Methodist Churches for two years.

Dr. Hendrickson received her

  • Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Drew University,
  • a Master of Divinity from Bangor Theological Seminary and a
  • Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the College of New Jersey.

Before becoming a minister, Dr. Hendrickson was a Senior Probation Officer for the Monmouth County Probation Department and worked in the Family Division.

Dr. Hendrickson brings a wealth of leadership and experience to St. Andrew’s including:

  • Drew Theological School D.Min. Faculty Advisor,
  • Order of Elders Planning Team, Board of Ordained Ministry member
  • and various District Committee Planning Teams.
She has also led several youth mission teams to Smolensk, Russia (including our own Stephanie Stawicki) and The Holy Land.

This July she will be participating as a leader for the Greater New Jersey Conference Young Adult Pilgrimage to Taize, France.

Dr. Hendrickson is married to the Rev. Dr. Rich Hendrickson who serves as Greater New Jersey Annual Conference Stewardship Education and Development Coordinator. Their twin daughters will be attending college this fall; Rebecca at Centenary College and Krista at Rowan University. The Hendrickson family is complete with mention of their lovable Chesapeake Bay Retriever, P-Kay, who can’t wait to romp in the parsonage backyard.
