ST. ANDREW'S MISSIONS IN THE PHILIPPINES
One of the Church's many missions projects is our direct connection to the Cottingham Memorial United Methodist Church in the Philippines.
The Missions Commision supports them in their local missionary work by supplying money so they can buy supplies locally for their outreach work.
One outreach is their annual Vacation Bible School and another is Disaster Relief. Below is a letter we just received
concerning the $500 donation sent to them by the United Methodist Women from their Bazaar Funds. We want to share it with the Congregation
so you can see how St. Andrew's is helping people in other parts of the world.

Dear Ms. Kohl:
Greetings in Christ Name!
The Cottingham Memorial United Methodist Church (CMUMC) under Outreach Ministry program gratefuIfy appreciated your monetary support. Your financial assistance mean "mission accomplished" because one of the missions of the ministry is to assist families that are affected by typhoon.
We joyfully received the check amounting to five hundred dollars ($500.00) and from this God's grace we were able to buy foods for the affected
families to supplement their five days food needs. We were able to buy sacks of rice, boxes of sardines, corned beef, noodles, powder milk,
energy drink, sugar and cookies. The families were so grateful to receive such assistance for their needs.
To quote some, the parents say "maraming salamat po sa biyaya at suporta ng Outreach ministry", "na iiyak na po ako sa galak dahil malaking tulong ito sa amin."
Furthermore, we enclosed pictures taken during the distribution of the relief goods. We also included pictures of houses of our beneficiaries.
We continue to praise and thank God for the help you have given generously.
May our Lord Jesus Christ showers you hundredfold of blessings and we will be praying for your continuous support in our ministry. We also hope that on
Christmas our beneficiaries will feel again the grace of our God Jesus Christ.
Maraming salamat po. Mabuhay po kayo.
Respectfully yours,
Eminor Puquiz - Chairman, Outreach Ministry & Rev. Benito Orbe - Pastor CMUMC
