LITTLE HANDS LITTLE FEET WORK ROOM
NOW IN ROOM 307

The Mission Comission is pleased to announce the move of the Little Hands - Little Feet(LHLF) to the main Church Building. Through the reallocation of classrooms Room 307 has been made available to become the new operating center for collection and distribution of clothing for needy children. Until now the, almost 90, storage tubs had to be kept in a commercial rental storage facility, which required LHLF members driving to the offsite storage bin to locate the proper tubs to fill the bags and bring them back to the Church Office for pickup. Previously the Church held clothing drives twice a year. All day workdays were held to sort & pack all donations in categorized rubbermaid tubs. This required the tubs being brought from the storage site to Wesley Hall in a large truck rental and UMM morning & afternoon crews to transport them.

With the new Room 307 storage area clothes can be retrieved quicker when requests come in. When clothing drives are held, sorting and packing can take place in the Church Gym which is right under Room 307. Onsite will also make it easier to handle clothing donations at other times. More people will be able to volunteer time to work in the LHLF workcenter since they can work right inside of the Church during any season of the year.
