Have you ever wanted more patience? Longed for more joy? Are you at peace within? If you are looking for true fulfillment in your lifeÉif you want the Holy Spirit to develop the character of Jesus in YOU, come join us and let God grow His fruit in your heart.

Please Note: If there is enough interest, this study may also be offered on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm.

THE SHACK BIBLE STUDY
Led by Reverend Del Pino
Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:30 am in the Pastor's Office
Begins: Wednesday, September 16

Reading, studying and sharing feelings about "The Shack" by William Young will crack the foundations of your belief about forgiveness and break through the veil of death as you have experienced it. This book is most definitely life-changing; you will be a more passionate, compassionate and truly Christ-like loving person after living through the heart-wrenching experiences written in this novel.

If you dare to feel deeply, and explore your strongly held beliefs about forgiveness, come and share your insights and revelations as you journey through this book. We will use scripture as a basis for answering questions that will arise in our time together.

THURSDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY
Led by Bill Key
Thursday Evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm in Room 102 (lower level)
Begins: Thursday, September 17

This class will be beginning St. Paul's 1 Corinthians, and will be using the United Methodist study guide, "Genesis to Revelation" which is thorough in coverage and makes the Bible relevant to our times. The only thing you need in addition to the study guide is a Bible. We will be using a special voice recording of the scripture as we begin. Copies of maps and other study aids will be provided by the instructor. The Bible is the supreme source of all of our information, and it is very long and full of important guidance; it is also strikingly sequential both in general and inside of individual books. This ongoing book-by-book Bible study has been progressing along with this fact in mind, and we are now at a critical point, because 1 Corinthians is the first of the more typical of Paul's epistles that we will have studied. If you have a time or date conflict, another time and/or date to meet with you would be considered.
