With great sadness we say goodbye to Dawn Shuda and her wonderful family; Doug, Chase, Katherine,    Caroline & Victoria.  They are on their way to a new job and family adventure in New Hampshire.   Dawn has been an instrumental leader in our children’s programs at St. Andrew’s and we     appreciate all that she has done for our church, our children, and our preschool where she was the Tuesday/Thursday assistant.  Prayers and best wishes    follow the Shuda family as they leave the state of Washington and move closer to their family back east.  Don’t forget to give them hugs they will be leaving soon!

             We would like to introduce Lisa Heiser, as our assistant in the 3-year-old class.  Lisa lives in Tenino and has a son in our preschool.  If you are in the church on Tuesday or Thursdays, give her a wave and let her know she is welcome.

             Please welcome Makaila Grosso in the nursery.  Makaila started the first week in September and already is loved by the children.  Make sure you stop by the nursery to say “Hi” on  Sunday.

B.I.G. Kids in Sunday School!!!

             Come join us on October 7th as we start our new Sunday School curriculum and become B.I.G. (Believers in God) Kids.  This is similar to our VBS curriculum in that there are stories, songs, crafts, games and snacks.  See Rachel Jones for more information about these exciting new lessons!

             We are still looking for adult    volunteers to help with our Sunday School Classes, please contact Rachel if your willing to help the children learn to be  Believers in God!

 

 

Adult Sunday School

Don’t forget that there are currently two Adult Sunday Schools available to anyone who wishes to attend.  They are being held between services at 9:45 to 10:45 every Sunday.  Denise Gerth and Roger Tanquist each teach a class.  We would love for you to come and see what it is all about.  It’s a wonderful time of fellowship as we explore the word of God together.
