Bazaar News

If fall has come, can the fall     bazaar be far behind?  Mark your calendars now for November 3rd, and keep it clear for the entire day.  This year you will see some changes in the annual event.  GRANDMA’S ATTIC is the main attraction and the fellowship hall will be turned into a grandma’s attic that even Grandma wouldn’t recognize.  Among the usual kitchen and household items, there will be a corner for baby items, a place for men to drool over tools, a    rummage section for good, clean clothing and of course books, books and more books!

Now, in order to have all of those items, we need your donations.  You may start bringing them to the church by the middle of October and put them in the big kitchen.  Remember, we can use only items that are working and in good repair.

Grandma’s attic will not be the only attraction.  There will be a SNACK BAR that will feature a tasty soup and a couple of choices of sandwiches.  And for desert you may choose from the BAKE SHOP that will be relocated into the Snack Bar area.  The CRAFT ROOM will feature handmade Christmas and other craft items along with our resident artist, SHARLYNN RUSSELL.  There will also

be an AVON TABLE run by our very own CAROL NICHOLS and the         Preschool will once again have CHRISTMAS WREATHES to pre-order for your door.

Grandma’s Attic and Bazaar will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  ROAST BEEF DINNER will be served from 5:00 to 6:30.  Dinner tickets will go on sale October 14th.

Besides your donations for Grandma’s Attic, we need items for the bake shop, craft room and the SILENT AUCTION. Craft and silent auction items may be brought to the church during    October.  Please bring baked goods      Friday, November 2nd, or the morning of November 3rd.

Look for more details in the    Sunday bulletin and on the reader board.
