WHAT YOU WILL FIND

A Warm Welcome
No matter who you are or where you’ve been, you will find a warm welcome at Spurgeon. We encourage you to “come just as you are”. All are welcome!

Vibrant, Relevant Worship
We offer a worship service for the family on Sundays at 10:15 a.m., conducted by our pastor, Rev. Melissa J. Rusler. This is a blended (traditional/contemporary) Methodist service with inspiring music, sharing of congregational joys and concerns, and a relevant Biblical message. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday each month; all are welcome to partake of Communion.

A separate Children's Church takes place during this service, conducted by our Director of Family Ministries, Pastor Greg Robbins.

Youth Ministry
Sundays at 6 p.m. for 6th through 12th grade youth (From September through June). Youth meet for learning and planned activities for recreation and fun. The emphasis is on Christian Discipleship and wholesome living. Directed by Pastor Greg Robbins.

Opportunities to Learn

United Methodists are faithful Christians who bear witness to Jesus Christ, the living reality at the center of the Church’s life and mission. United Methodists profess the historic Christian faith in God, incarnate in Jesus Christ for our salvation and ever at work in human history in the Holy Spirit. Living in a covenant of grace under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we participate in the first fruits of God's coming reign and pray in hope for its full realization on earth as in heaven.
