Music Ministry

First UMC of Springtown is very blessed with many talented singers and musicians.  There are many volunteers who give of their time and talents week after week to bring inspiring music to our worship services.

The Chancel Choir consists of a dedicated group of singers who provide anthems for our Sunday 11:00 service.  They also work very hard twice a year to present a special Christmas Cantata and Easter Cantata to help our congregation celebrate these holy seasons.  The choir practices every Wednesday at 7:30, and anyone who loves to sing is invited to come join us. The FUMC Praise Team leads our contemporary service, Wednesday Night Live, each week at 6:30.  This is a very uplifting service where many people come for a mid-week spiritual boost.

Our Handbell Choir rings once a month at our Sunday services and always provides beautiful and inspiring music for those who come to worship on those Sunday mornings.

We also have a gospel quartet, known to all as "The Quartet,"  a contemporary group called "Shield of Salvation," and another contemporary group, "Joyful Noise," all of whom provide music at various times, along with many talented soloists who show their love for the Lord through music.

Worshiping the Lord through music is important to many, and all who make up our music program hope that the Lord will use us to touch hearts through music.

"Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing."Psalms 100:2
