Odds-n-Ends Trip to Doniphan (South of Grand Island) on Platte River to watch Sandhill Cranes feeding
and coming in to roost at Sunset when they were migrating through Nebraska in March
Odds-n-Ends Group that made the trip to Doniphan, NE near Grand Island to View Sandhill Cranes
Many nearby corn fields with much for cranes to eat during the day
Starting to come in for the night at Sunset on Platte - near Doniphan NE viewing area
- thousands of Cranes in sky "circling down" to come in to land are hard to see in this picture without
enlarging - got really loud with all the "quacking" - lasted for almost an hour - amazing sight.

We ate at Chances R in York on way back - Good food and conversation - Odds-n-Ends almost always eats somewhere!
