Peter Perry comes to Seward Memorial United Methodist Church and Moose Pass United Methodist Church after have served as the senior minister at First Church of Phoenix, Arizona since July 2001 and has previously served churches in Prescott, Sedona, and Mesa, Arizona. A 1985 graduate of Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA, Peter also has an undergraduate degree in history from California State University, Fullerton. He first felt called to ministry as a teenager when he was teaching the third graders in the Sunday School at his home church. Peter is married to Karen, and they have two children: David, who is a student at Savannah College of Art and Design and Betsy, just graduated from Thunderbird High School in Phoenix and plans to head for college this fall. Peter is one of the authors of the book Bit Players in the Big Play, a collection of monologue sermons and worship dramas published by CSS Publishing. He served the annual conference as chair of the Board of Ordained Ministry.
