Hands Together
In Rio Bravo Mexico

Home Our Ministry Pastor's Page

February 5-10, 2007, two families from our church, the Campbells and Osbornes, joined a VIM team out of Arkansas. The Arkansas team leader incidentally was Rev. Larry Acton, the former director of the VIM program in Oklahoma that did the major work of rebuilding our church back in 1998. This year’s team was in mission to Hands Together Ministry, a ministry of medical and social services in Rio Bravo, Mexico. It is an area of extreme poverty and great need. Those receiving aid are selected by the Mexico Department of Human Services, so this ministry works closely with the community leadership. The Campbells and the Osbornes also took $300 from our congregation to support this vital ministry.
