An active church has many missions. There are also the practical matters of stewardship of the physical property and finances of the church. St. Matthew's depends on the talents and abilities God granted to our members as we seek to serve Him through our time and service. St. Matthew's follows the traditions and guidance of the United Methodist Church's Book of Discipline in organizing our church leadership toward God's service.

Staff

Rev. Larry Shores, Pastor
Larry Shores is a 1975 graduate of St. Paul School of Theology and has served in 11 churches over this 35+ years of ministry. He and his wife, Kathy Diehl-Shores, come to St. Matthew's from Faith UMC in Austin. Larry is the author of A Breath of Fresh Air: Reviving Worship in the Local Church and participates in the Walk to Emmaus training for Christian leaders.
