CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CENTER
Rules and Policies

All requests for the use of Church facilities must be submitted on a signed "Request For Use of Church Facilities" form for approval.  Not until the request has been approved and deposit and rental fees received, will the event be placed on the Church Calendar.  A request form can be pick up at the church office or you can download a copy of this request to your computer by clicking on:

PLANNING YOUR WEDDING

Fellowship Hall  (seats 200-250)

    25 round tables will seat 7-8 to a table.  There are 250 chairs available.
   
Renter will be responsible for all setup and take down costs incurred.
    Non Members $300 ($200 fee + $100 refundable deposit*) 
    Members        No Charge (love offering for utilities is appreciated)
        * Includes use of Kitchen, Fellowship Hall, & Restrooms.

Community Room (seats max. 60 people with tables, 80 people without tables)
    Renter will be responsible for all setup and take down costs incurred.
    Non Members 2 hours or less - $75 ($50 fee + $25 refundable deposit)*
    Members - No Charge (love offering for utilities is appreciated)
        * Preschool kitchen maybe available upon special request. (there will be a cost if permitted)

All reservations must be accompanied by a deposit and rental fee at time of booking.  Deposits and rental fees will be refunded only if notice is given within 2 weeks of reservations.  If less than 2 weeks only the rental will be refunded.

No reservations will be taken for any event more than 6 months in advance.

Church Policies
All Church policies will extend to the use of the CFC.
    * No Smoking
    * No Alcohol
    * No Gambling

Anyone or group found to be in violation of these rules will be asked to leave immediately and all monies will be forfeited.

When reserving the building be sure to allow enough time for set up and removal of tables & chairs, any food or catering, etc..  In some cases both rooms maybe rented at the same time so please be mindful of other people & keep unnecessary noise to a minimum.  The person accountable for the event is responsible for behavior of the group using the facilities.

Parking
The CFC has very limited parking.  It may be necessary to use the city parking lot across from Love Cantrell Funeral Home (to the rear of Church) for parking.  The parking lot to the west of the building belongs to the Baptist Church and is reserved for their use.

Scheduling
All scheduling will be on a "first come" basis.  The Church Council reserves the right to refuse rental at their discretion.  Some activities will not be permitted; such as, Political Rallies, Retail Shows, Fund Raisers, or Benefits programs unless they directly benefit the church.  (See bottom to inquire or schedule).

Cleaning
All persons using or renting the building are expected to leave it in the same condition they found it.  Any excessive cleaning will result in an additional charge.  Any damage will result in an additional charge.

Care of walls

  • Do mot use nails or screws to hang items.

  • Do not use scotch tape or other tapes to attach items.

  • Do not use push pins or thumb tacks.

  • Use special wall mounting dough that can be easily removed.

Care of Doors

  • Do not use nails or screws to attach items to doors

  • If something must be attached to a door, use wall mounting dough that can be easily removed without damage to the door.

Care of Floors

  • No Food or drink in carpeted areas.

These guidelines are subject to change without notice and are subject to the full approval of the church council.

* Deposit will be returned if rooms are left in good condition, setup as when rented and do not require the use of janitorial services.
