ARE YOU A NEW OR CONFUSED METHODIST? Many persons in our church, including your pastor, have come into United Methodism from other churches and have questions about what it means to be Methodist as opposed to Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian or whatever else. Many others have been Methodist all their lives but are curious about what it is that defines Methodism. For the next three weeks, beginning next Tuesday (Nov 3rd) at 7:00 p.m. in the Spares and Pairs classroom, we will begin a short (three week) class on what it means to be United Methodist. The classes will include a short video presentation, a presentation from the pastor and a question and answer period. See you there.
Just in time to start your holiday shopping! The annual UMW/UMM Fall Bazaar. Come see the many handcrafted items we have this year: quilts, scarves, purses, shawls, placemats, jewelry, table, flower pots, bird houses and bird feeders, holiday decorations and homemade jellies, jams, pies, cakes, candy, salsa, pickles, chutney . . . . In addition to the crafts, a lunch of soup, chili, sandwiches, hot dogs and desserts will be served from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The CFC will be open on Thursday, November 5th from 9:00 - 4:00 for delivery and set up. Call Ginny Miller if you need assistance.
