Smith Chapel United Methodist Church

        A WORD FROM THE PASTOR

Then Jesus came to them and said: 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."  (Matthew 28: 18-20, NIV)
Smith Chapel has been ministering to the needs of western Hardin County for 132 years, through worship, outreach, and active United Methodist Women's ministry, and Vacation Bible School.
If you're planning a visit to western Hardin County, or you anticipate a move to a beautiful quiet rural setting in the near future, come and worship with us at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday morning.  Sunday school is at 10:00 a.m., and evening worship is at 6:00p.m.(7:00 during daylight savings time).
May you know Christ as  LORD and  Savior, and may God richly bless your life in every way.

        In Christ,
        Bill Rounsaville, pastor
