Community Spiritual Director: Alfie Jaeger This
is the clergy side of the leadership of the community, and this person
acts as a liaison between the community and the clergy servants.
Secretary: Elena Van SchaackThe Secretary records the
meeting minutes and
maintains the written records of the community.
Treasurer: Mirna ValdesThe Treasurer handles
all the contributions to the community and the expenditures by the
community.
Board Members -
Committee Chairs
Agape for
Weekends: Chuck Archdeacon
ensures that all the agape teams of the Walk to Emmaus weekends are
equipped and prepared. All members of the community who contribute to
this effort should contact this committee chair.
Agape
International: Joanne Burt receives and distributes
letters of agape
love to and from other Emmaus communities around the world. If you know
of other communities with whom we should be sharing greetings, please
contact this person.
Child
Care: Liesl Fernandesensures that there is
adequate child care
at Emmaus gatherings, team meetings and other functions. Please contact
this person 48 hours before any covered event if you need child care.
Chrysalis/SEARCH:
Mark DeFedericois
our
liaison with the Chrysalis
movement for young Christian
adults, and with SEARCH for youth looking for spiritual direction.
Community
Development: Mark Warner
is the person to contact
regarding presentations of What is Emmaus to Churches that may be
unfamiliar with the ministry.
Community Training
Coordinator: Burgess Abu-Smail is responsible for all training
seminars,
including Fourth Day Insights (required for those interested in working
on an Emmaus team) and Sponsorship Training (required for all those who
would like to sponsor someone for a Walk to Emmaus). Contact this
person to check on upcoming training sessions.
Facilities:
Godfrey Bovell
arranges for locations and dates of upcoming Walk to Emmaus weekends,
as well as some other facilities (such as storage).
Gatherings:Dale
Jaeger arranges the locations and speakers for monthly
community Gatherings. Contact this person if you are interested in
giving a Fourth Day witness.
Group
Reunions: Rev. Greg Milinovich
is
the keeper of the central database of reunion groups in our area. See
the related page on this site. If you are
looking for a reunion group in your area, this is the person to contact.
Hospitality:
Hilary Stannard is responsible for all the
refreshments, setup and
clean-up at Gatherings and other Emmaus events. Call this person to let
this committee know what you can bring!
Literature:
Ted Stevensorders all the
Emmaus literature, books and other
readings available to the community.
Music:
Bob Stannard is
the leader of the musicians for Gatherings, Walks to Emmaus,
and team meetings. If you have song suggestions, please bring them to
this
person's attention.
Registration:
Judy Marinozziis
the person who handles all the applications for
people interested
in attending a Walk to Emmaus. See therelated

for the community. This is the contact for submitting items for the

Prayer
Chain: Pat Terry administers an email prayer chain. If you have a
